Pincoy MobiStor range of products are external storage drives primarily focused on Mobile phone users. It connects to Android mobile phone (OTG enabled phones) seamlessly under native file system support (no third party app required). Once formatted on Android environment (EX-FAT system) the data copied on this can be shared across all possible environment ( windows, iMac, Linux).
It is fast enough to play 4K Video (like movies, serials etc) on your mobile phone, big enough to store upto 480GB of data and small enough to fit in your wallet.
Pincoy is a mythological name from South America for Sealion. Sealion is a cute animal which live in land and water both. Sealion has highest memory retention among all animals species.
Our product Pincoy MobiStor derives basic characteristics from Sealion (Pincoy). It offers high memory retention (upto 8 years) and operates in multiple environment smoothly (Android, Windows, iMac, Linux)
SSD means Solid State Drive.
Solid State Drives (SSD) are storage devices similar to Hard Disk Drives (HDD). The major difference bwtween the two is that Hard Disk Drive stores data in magnetic platters with the help of read/write head while Solid State Drive (SSD) stores data in the memory chips.
Since Solid State Drives (SSD) does not have any moving part, its more rugged and much faster than Hard Disk Drives.
